Sponsorship Opportunities

Warrington Swimming and Water Polo Club is looking for sponsors to help to provide a high standard of coaching to the local community while keeping fees at an affordable level. During each season we need to raise funds for training equipment, club kit, match balls and coaching courses.

Support a local good cause

Warrington Swimming and Water Polo Club(WSWPC), based at Orford, has been established for over a hundred and thirty-five years. The club currently has around 200 swimmers and water polo players. Training sessions take place every day apart from Thursday.

Every year we host two local galas, and two club championships, with up to eight lanes of swimmers over two hours, attended by many parents from Warrington and the North West. WSWPC has, for the past four years, hosted a Water Polo development tournament. Last year this attracted around 100 players from all over the Northwest. The excellent spectator area holds over 200 people and is well used on these occasions. In addition, we play around 100 water polo matches in local leagues and tournaments throughout the year

Throughout the year individuals and teams compete in galas at local, regional and national level. The swim team competes in local competitions as well as individuals entering a wide range of events in the North West

Recent successes at the Olympic and Commonwealth games have raised the profile of swimming and Water Polo in this country and shown youngsters the rewards that can come from committing to a demanding sport. The club offers swim teaching for beginners and coaching to swimmers 5 years upwards, and for water polo players from 9 years upwards.

The club has enjoyed tremendous success over the past few years. In fact, one of our club members played for the Women’s Water polo team at the Olympics London 2012. In 2017 we had two water polo players competing for GB in the world student games, and had many playing for the regional team, and clubs in the National league.

The Sponsorship Packages

Sponsorship packages can be tailored to suit the budget of the business or individual but the standard packages shown below give a starting point.

Package A - £100 p.a.

  • Company logo with web link displayed on WSWPC website

Package B - £150 p.a.

  • Company logo featured in gala programmes at all four licensed meets

  • Company logo with web link displayed on WSWPC website

Package C - £250 p.a.

  • Company promotional banner displayed at each of the club galas and tournaments

  • Company leaflets/flyers made available at club galas and tournaments

  • Company logo featured in programmes at club galas and tournaments

  • Company logo with web link displayed on WSWPC website

  • Other elements that could be added to an enhanced sponsorship package might include:

  • Sponsorship of all or part of the club kit

  • Half and full-page advertising within the club meet and tournament programmes

  • Headline sponsorship at one or more galas

  • The club’s press officer to ensure sponsors name included in written coverage of events
